Senior Product Compliance Engineer
About the Role
As our Senior Product Compliance Engineer, you will ensure that our products obtain all required regulatory compliance and/or carrier certifications before the release to mass production and for the life of the product in case of any changes to regulatory requirement or target market.
What You’ll Do
As Senior Product Compliance Engineer, you will work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external certified labs to ensure products are fully tested to all applicable standards and are fully compliant for deployment in the target market.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading product compliance activities across multiple product portfolios.
- Define, review and scrutinize requirements for regulatory and carrier certification.
- Research compliance requirements for new markets, technology and/or trade compliance.
- Plan, schedule, negotiate requirements/lead times/costs with external test vendors.
- Prepare documentation required for certification and compliance test labs.
- Conduct hands on hardware/software testing and debug of issues.
- Ensure timely reporting of progress on compliance and certification tasks to Project teams.
- Undertake all compliance activities in the most cost-effective manner possible.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with testing vendors
- Ensure cost competitiveness through multiple vendors.
- Review, verify, document external lab reports to ensure completion of tasks.
- Monitor regulatory and product changes, maintain compliance throughout product lifecycle.

Requirements
- Substantial experience in Electronics products compliance testing.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Safety, Wireless & Radio Frequency (RF).
- Strong knowledge in industry standards, regulatory requirements for electronics products.
- Solid understanding in Regional Compliance requirements for Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), CE, Global Certification Forum (GCF), Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the commitment to follow tasks through to successful completion.

- Effective communicator with the ability to explain complex regulatory and technical requirements to different stakeholders.
